We cannot guarantee you a certain number of talks, but we can guarantee that we will make every effort to give you exposure. Any time we have a business or organization contact us for our list of speakers, your name and topic will be included on that list. When we have 10 or more new speakers join, we will also send out a “New to Speak Freely” flyer to about 100+ groups.

Once the group program chairperson reviews our “list,” they will call us back with specific requests. Once a particular group requests you, we will e-mail or fax you a form that lets you know your talk has been selected and will provide you with the contact person’s name and phone number.

It is then up to you to contact this person and go over the details of when and where you will be speaking. Be sure to exchange phone numbers. Also, be sure to have a written “bio” about yourself in case you are asked. Many groups will write about you in their upcoming newsletter or local newspaper. E-mail or fax your “bio” immediately if requested!

It is a firm policy of Speak Freely that you return a call to the contact person within three days. Even if you have to turn down the talk, please call within three days. You do not need to let us know whether or not you accepted or declined the speaking engagement. We are here merely to serve as an intermediary.

We do ask that during your Speak Freely “gig” you identify yourself as a Speak Freely speaker.
